Leaders are not nominated. They take the role of leaders in the situations demanding so. Leaders assume leadership role and take charge and take command.

Abhishek Bachchan steals the government gold from airport where Amitabh Bachhan is in-charge of the gold transit. Amitabh Bachhan reacts taking control of the situation and giving instructions (as if he was the commander in chief in a battlefield) to the subordinates and says that the complete control of the airport is under him. The officer argues that why will the airport authorities give the control and the required information. He snaps that everything on the airport is under him until the GOLD is not recovered.
This is called TRUE ASSUMED LEADERSHIP
